STAR Camps - Summer Camp 2020 Modified FAQ's

1. How many students are you allowing in a classroom?

Per state licensing regulations, each group will consist of 10 students, and there will be up to 2 stable groups per classroom. Enrollment spaces will be more limited than in past years, so we highly encourage you to enroll as soon as possible.

2. How will you keep students socially distanced?

STAR has been running programming since April 1st and has the experience needed to ensure students remain 6 feet apart when feasible. All curriculum has been written to ensure social distance can be maintained, both inside and outside.

3. What is STAR’s cleaning regiment?

STAR will be diligently disinfecting between rotations and at the end of the day. Students will be washing hands before entering the classroom and between rotations.

4. What other safety precautions will you be taking?

STAR staff will be wearing masks as an added safety measure.

Sign in and out will happen outside the classroom and only staff and enrolled students will be allowed in the classrooms.

Any student or staff showing any illness symptoms will be sent home and must have a doctor’s note to return.

5. What will students be doing?

STAR Summer Camp will look different this year without the specialized weekly camps. Our focus this year is offering a fun and safe environment for students and STAR staff have a super exciting summer planned!

Kinder Camp

Move over Preschool! Kindergarten here we come! STAR Kinder Camp is the place to be for summertime fun before your big kid school year begins. Transition from Preschool to Kindergarten while exploring art, music, science, movement and so much more! Have a blast meeting new friends in a safe and closely monitored environment. Learning is fun in a structured classroom with a balance of hands-on enrichment based academic and recreational activities. Each fun-filled week is theme-based including: Around the World, Under the Sea, The Great Outdoors, Animal Planet, and much more. The right start is the smart start with STAR Kinder Camp!
For enrollment for the final two weeks of camp, please enroll in SuperSTAR camp.

*Students must be entering Kindergarten or TK to be able to attend this camp

Super STAR Camp (1st - 7th Grade)

Do you need to get out of the house and have fun? Have you missed being creative and playing? Do you want to explore new ideas and just be a kid? Try it all this summer with STAR's one of a kind variety camp! SuperSTAR Camp encourages creativity, innovation and exploration. It will allow you to participate in a hands-on mix of programs including Sports, Science, Art and other enrichment based activities! Each fun-filled week is theme-based including: Around the World, Under the Sea, The Great Outdoors, Animal Planet and much more. SuperSTAR Camp will be an exciting learning experience with campus-wide spirit and dress up days. Come join us for a summer filled with everything FUN!!

6. What are the times and cost?

STAR Summer Camp will be open from 6:30 AM - 5:30 PM. Schedules are available by day, with a 2 day minimum enrollment. The cost is $55 per day for less than 5 days. 5 day a week enrollment is $48 per day. Camp tuition fees are due the Monday of each week of camp. There is a non-refundable $75 registration fee due upon enrollment.

7. What is the staff to student ratio?

STAR will meet or exceed the state mandated 10:1 teacher to student ratio.

8. What do I need to bring for my student?

Please provide lunch and 2 snacks for your student that do not need refrigeration or heated. Please do NOT send your student with a backpack.

9. What is your cancellation policy?

STAR is fee-for-service program based on confirmed enrollments and secured fees. Therefore, our cancellation policy is applied uniformly and with NO EXCEPTIONS.

  • There is a $35 cancellation fee per student, per week, in which any day, days or full week are cancelled. All cancellations must be submitted through the contact button at
  • Cancellations must be submitted no later than 11:59 pm on the Sunday two weeks prior to the start date of the camp you are disenrolling from.
  • If you do not submit your cancellation two weeks prior to the start date of the camp, your enrollment will remain active and you will be held financially responsible for the full camp tuition regardless of your student’s attendance.
  • The registration fee is nonrefundable.
  • You will be held financially responsible for any days missed. No make-up days will be granted for any reason.
  • If you would like to add a day to your student’s part time camp schedule, you must do so by the Wednesday of the week prior to the camp you are adding a day to. This can be done through the contact button on
  • There is a $15 schedule change fee, per student, per week for switching scheduled days. The schedule change cannot be not less than the original scheduled number of days.
  • If you have paid for a full month of care and given a two week notice you will receive a prorated refund.
